Come out to farm country for a Food, Land & People Workshop at Pettigrew State Park on Saturday, March 13th.
You will receive an activity book over 900 pages including 55 fun and engaging activities that instruct students on the relationships between agriculture, the environment and human populations, designed for pre-K through 12 .
A local farmer will be there to give a talk on current practices and challenges our area farmers face today.
The workshop is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It is eligible for CEU and environmental education credit.
