We have a few last minute openings for our “Spring in the Mountains” Educator trek next weekend April 27-29, 2018. This workshop is a collaboration between the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It should be a wonderful time to see spring ephemeral wildflowers and learn about a wealth of research happening in the park. We hope you can join us!
3:30pm Friday, April 27, 2018 - 6:00pm Sunday, April 29, 2018
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a hotspot for biodiversity and spring is a wonderful time to experience it! The park is also a crucible for studying how humans are impacting the environment. Participate in ongoing research projects studying the impacts of air quality and climate change and bring home ideas to teach about our interdependence with the natural world.
If you’d like to join us, please send me an email!
