FREE Early Childhood Dino Discovery Workshops - March and May, Wake and Whiteville

Early Childhood Educators:

Bring the excitement of dinosaurs back to your classroom! Learn how to capture young children’s excitement about the latest dinosaur discoveries to spark a love of science learning. At the end of the workshop teachers will receive $100 worth of science, math and literacy materials, a dinosaur tote bag and an activity-filled flash drive. Dinner will be served!

 

We will be holding this workshop in three locations:

  • In East Wake County (Wendell) – Thur, Mar 26, 6-8:30 pm
  • At the Museum in Raleigh – Mon, May 11, 6-8:30 pm
  • At the Museum in Whiteville  - Thur, May 14, 6-8:30 pm

 

For educators of preschool age children only. Over 51% of your students must be from low to moderate income families (LMI).

If you teach in Wake or Johnston County; LMI families have income of less than $67,445/year. If you teach in Franklin, Nash, Edgecombe or Wayne County; LMI families have income of less than $42,540. If you teach in Orange, Durham or Chatham County; LMI families have income of less than $62,960. If you teach in Columbus or Robeson County; LMI families have income of less than $41,840/year. If you teach Cumberland or Pender County; LMI families have income of less than $42,240/year. If you teach in Bladen County; LMI families have income of less than $25,900/year.
