Free virtual workshop - Schoolyard Exploration: Smokies Style

Join Great Smoky Mountains National Park Rangers and the staff of Discover Life in America for a FREE hands on virtual workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 4:00 - 5:30. We will share activities that you can do with students in either the schoolyard or from their homes. We will model the use of free apps (iNaturalist SnapIt and MapIt), Smokies datasets (Atlas of the Smokies) and online teaching aids such as Jamboard while you explore the area around you.

This workshop is open to anyone who is looking for ways to engage students virtually or take learning outside.
