Get solar and STEM education for your school!

These are the final weeks to apply for the NC GreenPower Solar+ Schools grant! I have updated our social media toolkit (attached here) and added a couple of new graphics to share – simply click on the images to download a higher resolution version. Please continue posting for us through 2/28. We have seen a HUGE uptick in our website traffic and much interest from schools across the state. This is all due to your help in sharing about our program!

Become a Solar School!

 

NC GreenPower Solar+ Schools provides a majority of the grant funding for 3-5 kilowatt solar educational projects, including a weather station, real-time data monitoring, a STEM curriculum and training for teachers! Any K-12 school in North Carolina may apply for our matching grant funding. Awarded schools create a profile page on our peer-to-peer fundraising website and launch campaigns to raise money to fund their portion ($6,000, $9,000 or $12,000) of the solar installation, and NC GreenPower supplements these efforts with marketing and social media promotion.
