What: Earthquakes in North Carolina Education Workshops
Attendees will participate in earthquake related activities and demonstrations that are taught by award winning N.C. earth science teachers. We will also cover the history of earthquakes in North Carolina and learn how to prepare for an earthquake emergency. All activities are included in a workbook correlated to the N.C. Essential Standards for Science. Do you know the magnitude of the largest earthquake that occurred in North Carolina? How about the largest earthquake that has affected our state? Attend and you will find out!
