STEM summer programs for both middle and high schoolers

Description: The North Carolina School of Science and Math (NCSSM), ranked one of the top high schools in the nation, is offering several exciting summer experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math for students in middle and high school. For rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders: - Accelerator is a three-week program that focuses on a range of topics from epidemiology to astronomy (and more!). Multiple sessions are offered, each centered around one a specific topic. The first two weeks of each course take place online, at the student's own pace. One week of each course takes place on either NCSSM's Durham campus or Brevard College in Brevard, NC where they engage in hands-on activities and fun lectures as well as interact with industry professionals. This program is open to all 10th-12th grade students across the globe. The cost of participation is $1,925. These courses vary in length and time commitment, but offer an unique insight into topics they would not see in a traditional classroom.
