Other Details: Campus housing provided for eligible out-of-town teachers. Equipment support provided for participating teachers during the subsequent academic year. 
Are you a current high school Biology teacher or a current science education student who plans to teach Biology? Then this opportunity is for you! This five-day workshop will provide hands-on training in basic recombinant DNA technology and synthetic biology. 
This professional development opportunity is limited to 10 teachers or pre-service science education majors. Interested teachers are encouraged to apply by February 29, 2020. Selected participants will be notified in early March. For additional workshop information and to apply, please visit:
