I have enjoyed serving as secretary for 2 terms for the NCSTA board. I enjoy working with the Executive Committee in seeing to the business of NCSTA. I appreciate being able to capture from my notes what business is discussed at the meetings. We have strived to well serve the members of NCSTA throughout this pandemic. I appreciate how well this board works together advocating for NC Science teachers and developing great PDI's.

Dr. Laura Bottomley has more than 35 years of experience teaching STEM at all levels, pre-K through graduate school, all over the world. Referred to as Dr. B by her students, she engages those same students in bringing STEM activities to places in the world like Rwanda and Puerto Rico.
