Upcoming Project Learning Tree Curriculum Workshops!

Project Learning Tree is an environmental-based curriculum that engages student learning by using the natural world around us;  helping educators teach academic standards in a way that builds STEM hard and soft skills and is fun!
 
We have two workshops currently on the calendar and they are listed below. Please read their descriptions fully so you are aware of the workshop format and COVID protocols. Please reach out to myself or the workshop facilitator with any questions!
 
Project Learning Tree K-8 Hybrid Workshop @ Agape Center for EE
Monday, March 29 - Saturday, April 10, 2021 
**Required in-person workshop Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:30am - 12:30pm @ Agape (near Fuquay-Varina)

What does this workshop entail? Participants are required to complete, in this order:
1. View an introductory video from the NC PLT Coordinator introducing participants to Project Learning Tree and how to access and navigate the module. (asynchronous ~ 30 minutes)

2. Complete the online K-8 Professional Development module from national PLT.  (asynchronous ~ 4 hours, at your own pace/schedule)

3. Attend the in-person portion at Agape Center for EE near Fuquay-Varina on Saturday, April 10 from 9:30am - 12:30pm. This will be a time to explore additional PLT activities, discuss implementation, distribute hard copies of the PLT K-8 Activity Guide, and share more about PLT resources and adaptations.
