Treasurer

Cliff Hudson

I have dedicated 21 years to education, all within Martin County. I spent 10 years as a high school science teacher, teaching Earth/Environmental Science, Biology, Astronomy/Geology, and Physical Science. I then served for 5 years as the district Science/STEM Coordinator and am currently in my 6th year in school administration. Along the way, I’ve become known to many students and teachers as the “rock guy” or “moon man.”

I have been an active member of NCSTA for approximately 20 years and have served the organization in a variety of roles, including District Director, Past President, PDI Chair/Committee member, and as part of the Goals/Membership and Finance Committees.

I truly value this organization and the opportunities it provides. From meaningful collaboration to presenting sessions, NCSTA has had a significant impact on my professional growth. The organization is deeply committed to supporting science educators across North Carolina, with the ultimate goal of inspiring curiosity and reaching all students. I would be honored to continue giving back to NCSTA in the role of Treasurer, just as it has given so much to me throughout my career.
