Carol Maidon, Associate Professor Emeritus at Campbell University, has served as a high school biology teacher and an educator and administrator at NC State University, Campbell University and the Department of Public Instruction over her thirty-four-year career. Her early interest led her to investigations into educational practices that result in learner academic achievement and student engagement in scientific endeavors through inquiry-based instructional strategies and the integration of other subjects such as literacy into science activities. She is licensed in the areas of Biology, English, Comprehensive Science and Academically and Intellectually Gifted.
