NCSciFest is here!

Greetings from NCSciFest HQ!

The 2021 North Carolina Science Festival is back and in full swing, with hundreds of virtual and in-person events happening across the state all month long! Check out the full calendar to find amazing events.

We've also revamped our Educators landing page to highlight some great opportunities for teachers - here are some of this year's new features:
  • Our brand new weekly trivia series kicks off this week! Tune in Tuesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 6pm for new rounds of questions and prizes from partners including the NC School of Science and Math, Morehead Planetarium, the NC Aquariums, and the NC Zoo. Learn more here.
  • Scientists at UC Berkeley and Duke University have launched a new program for high school students focused on Dark Energy and data science. Find more info and pre-register here.
  • The UNC Virtual Science Expo on Friday, April 16 will feature a full day of sessions with UNC scientists for students of all ages. Check out the full lineup and register here.

Governor Cooper has proclaimed April as STEM Education Month, and we're thrilled to celebrate with the entire state again this April!

Best,
Erik and the NCSciFest Team
