Carie Fugle

I was the District 6 Outstanding High School Science Teacher in 2018, and have been active in participating in NCSTA events and social media postings. I was an active member of the RSSS Science curriculum team, and have recently switched to CCS where I have been asked to join the EEn Teacher Team, as well. I am looking for other ways to serve the science community besides serving at my school location. I am eager to learn, energetic, outgoing, and a supporter of public & science education- I feel I could responsibly and enthusiastically serve as the District 6 Director.

Dr. Laura Bottomley has more than 35 years of experience teaching STEM at all levels, pre-K through graduate school, all over the world. Referred to as Dr. B by her students, she engages those same students in bringing STEM activities to places in the world like Rwanda and Puerto Rico.
